Dr. Hazim Sadideen

Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon

Mr. Hazim Sadideen graduated from Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' (London, UK) with double distinctions, the Riker's award, the George Leach Cup and King's College London Laurels. He completed his plastic surgery sub-intern clerkship at Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA) and was awarded Honours. He completed his core surgical training at the Oxford School of Surgery (Oxford, UK) where he was an anatomy demonstrator and honorary surgical tutor at the University of Oxford.

He completed his plastic surgery specialty registrar training on the West Midlands rotation based at University Hospitals Birmingham, home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine. Mr. Sadideen undertook four specialist fellowships in London; the reconstructive cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital, the microsurgical reconstructive fellowship at Charing Cross Hospital, the BAAPS/BAPRAS aesthetic surgery fellowship at Cadogan Clinic, and the skin oncology fellowship at St. Thomas' Hospital.

He is the recipient of awards and prizes from King’s College London, University of Oxford, Imperial College London, Harvard, the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He was also the BAAPS and BAPRAS travelling fellow to New York (NYU Langone, USA) in 2018; this unit undertook the world's most extensive face transplant to date.

He is currently on the BAAPS Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) Task Force and was on the Reconstructive Surgery Trials Network (RSTN) steering committee for national projects on microsurgical breast reconstruction (optiFLAPP) and breast angiosarcoma (BRASS). Mr. Sadideen is an invited reviewer for plastic and reconstructive surgical journals and for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Services and Delivery Research Programmes.
 

He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London (Department of Surgery and Cancer) and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London (Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research). He holds a Masters (MEd) and doctorate (PhD) in Surgical Education. He has authored 40 journal publications and  2 book chapters. In 2021, Mr. Sadideen was appointed to the question-writing panel for the FRCS (Plast) examination.

Mr. Sadideen has a wealth and breadth of experience in all aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery—facial, breast and body. He also has a specialist interest in skin cancer, scar management, and regenerative surgery. He is indebted to his mentors who helped shape his surgical career. He believes it is an utmost privilege to look after patients and is devoted to delivering the best of care, tailored to patients' needs.
